Nitrogen is developed by microfi and is a mp3 player for the windows mobile devices. If you are looking for an audio player then Nitrogen might be the one for you. There are however many mp3 players available but it’s always good to have some change. Nitrogen player supports the touch feature so I don’t think any of the users will experience any difficulty in using this application.

Nitrogen player has all the features which any mp3 player must have. You can play music from your phone memory or from the memory card directly. You can also create your own playlists and edit them later on. In the previous versions of Nitrogen player there was no support to skins but in its latest version 2.0, the skin support is also included. Keep on changing the skin regularly to bring a new look to the player.

Nitrogen player also has a file browser which is quite easy to use and it also supports “Shuffle” and “Repeat” modes. To save the battery power, Nitrogen player also has a built in sleep mode feature and an option to blank the screen so as to save battery. Moreover to help save battery Nitrogen player uses a very light decoder called MAD decoder which runs in the background and consumes negligible battery power.

Since Nitrogen player was developed to overcome the lack of finger friendly application for windows mobile, it has big icons so that you can navigate through the library easily. However whats lacks in Nitrogen player is an equalizer which is a very important ingredient for the making of any mp3 players, this is where Nitrogen player disappoints me. To add to the disappointment Nitrogen player doesn’t have support for all the formats.

Video mobile converter also known as ViO is primarily an iphone application. It was developed by the torrent search engine The Pirate Bay. The application is used to convert a given file format into a format that is compatible with the iphone. Besides converting the format it can also compress the file to one fifth its size.


It is a light application and the process of file conversion is very fast. It can also be used for devices like play stations (psp), pda and iPod.
The system requirements are as follows:
• Minimum 100 mb of free space on hard disk
• Intel or AMD processor of 1000 MHz
• Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/2003/XP/Vista
It is a very user friendly tool and it allows the user to specify the size of the output file and output bitrates.



Procedure:
• Install the application in your computer.
• Run the application.
• Load the file to be converted using the browse option.
• Enter the output bit rate and file size.
• Click on convert video to start the conversion.
If you check the box that says shutdown on completion it will exit the application when the conversion is completed. During the conversion process it will show the estimated output size and the completion time.
Another interesting feature that the user can install is the toolbar that comes along with the application. The toolbar allows you to download the .flv videos from YouTube by pasting the URL in the search bar. It also acts as a shortcut link to the video mobile converter.

Overall the application is a very useful one which comes in handy when you want to compress data or play your music video or audio files in your iphone.

De-solder the EEPROM (ATMEL AT 24C64)
Read out the data with an EEPROM programmer and save it to a file (Backup)
If you have v.33 or v4.73, change the address "03B8" from "00" to "FF"
If you have v5.24 then change the address "0378" from "00" to "FF"
Write the new data to the EEPROM and solder it back to the phone
Power on your phone and you should have "Netmonitor" enabled.

1. Insert SIM card of different provider.
2. Turn on the phone and press the UP VOLUME key for 3 sec.

3. Press the "C" key.
4. Then Press * and wait until it disappears and appears again, then press * one more time and 04*PIN*PIN*PIN#
